I have seen the potential of a child who needs only a pen, a desk, and a dream. This is not a distant observation; it is my own story, rooted in my beginnings in Bois-Neuf, Fonds-Verrettes. For me, Haiti Restoration is more than an organization; it is a personal commitment to serve unsettled families and children who deserve a future.

As the first free Black nation in the Western Hemisphere, our major cities and surrounding areas still lack basic necessities. It is heartbreaking to see a community rely on rainfall as its main source of drinking water, a diabetic person die because they did not see a healthcare professional soon enough, or students complete secondary education without ever touching a computer. This is a total exclusion from the modern world.

Moved by such awareness, compassion, and responsibility to my home, I could no longer look away. I chose to act, starting this mission-driven company with a burning commitment and conviction to bridge these gaps. I am inspired to create tangible pathways toward equity. Haiti Restoration ensures basic clinic visits are within reach by providing care through telehealth and a mobile clinic.

To date, computer literacy is missing from Haiti’s public-school curriculum, and 90% of private institutions lack the capacity to implement it. We bridge this gap by starting in Fonds-Verrettes and Anse-à-Veau, delivering foundational training that empowers youth to join the global economy and realize their potential. This is not about the past; it is a direct intervention for families who need us today.
